American Bull Frog, Brazos Bend State Park, Needville, Texas

Went on the Full Moon hike at Brazos Bend State Park on Friday. Saw a ton of American Bull Frogs at 40 Acre Lake. It was drizzling and cloudy but right after dark we saw an Anhinga perched in a tree glistening in the moonlight. We also saw a Yellow-crowned Night Heron hunting and a bunch of alligators swimming around – they looked spooky in the dark. Heard a Barred Owl  but did not see it. It was fun visiting the park after hours.
