Ring-necked Duck female, Cullinan Park, Sugar Land, Texas

Saw this stunning Ring-necked Duck female out in the lake. Made friends with a fellow birder photographer who informed me a Bald Eagle has been spotted flying over the lake some mornings. Hung around a while but did not see the Eagle. It’s fun meeting human friends rather than feathered ones once in a while!
