Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, 59 and University, Sugar Land, Texas

Had fifteen minutes to kill before meeting a friend for lunch so I parked on the side of the road to photograph this Flycatcher. I see about two or three Scissor-tails every day I drive by this particular field – easy to spot with their beautiful long tails. Used to see them in this same spot last year – glad they have returned!
