Hooded Warbler Female, Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary, Quintana, Texas
A few weeks ago after good storms and winds I visited Quintana. There were songbirds galore. Warblers, warblers, everywhere. There was a Hooded Warbler male that was the life of the party, landing inches away from me. He flitted around the bird sanctuary entrance enchanting and greeting everyone who entered the woods.
Then later in the same area as the Hooded Warbler male I noticed this female peeking curiously at me behind this branch. I guess every good extrovert needs a good introvert to balance them out.
